A Lenten Bible Study will begin on Ash Wed, 2/18 at 10 am for the daytime study and Thurs, 2/19 at 6 pm for the evening study. We will be doing an eight session study on Jesus’ Final Week.
Stations of the Cross will be celebrated on Fridays of Lent at 6:30 pm beginning Friday, February 20.
Morning Prayer w/ Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be celebrated on Thursday, March 5 at 10 am. This will be a combination of quiet meditation and prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and Evening Prayer, concluding with Benediction.
We will be meeting the 1st Saturday of the month at at 8 am, March 7. The morning will include teaching, food, fellowship, and prayer. We will be using the Stepping Up Video Series which features renowned ministry leaders that will challenge you to dig deep into what it means to be a godly, courageous man. Please sign up on the blue sheet in the parish hall.
Youth Bible Study for youth in 6th grade and up will meet with the diocesan youth ministry team on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 6 pm.. The next meeting is Monday, March 9. They will begin with a meal, have a time of fellowship, prayer, worship and bible study.
Discipleship Sunday will be held on the 3rd Sunday at 11 am. Our next meeting is Sunday, March 15. There will be two sessions: one for youth and adults (6th grade and up) and one for children 5th grade and under. The children will meet up in the Nursery. We will meet for one hour. The adults will be studying Robert Morris’s The God I Never Knew: How real friendship with the Holy Spirit can change your life.
The churches of the Western Mohawk Deanery invite you to the regional Healing Eucharist that will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21st at 6 pm at St. Ann's Church, 37 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. The celebrant at this special healing service will be the Rt. Rev. William Love, Bishop of Albany. The preacher will be Rev. Mark Chesnut, Curate at St. John's, Johnstown. This service will begin with contemporary praise and worship music followed by the celebration of Holy Eucharist. Opportunities for healing prayer and Reconciliation (Confession) will follow. Childcare will be available during the service.
The fundraiser will begin at 7 pm to support the mission trip of Jacob Busseno. He will be part of the diocesan mission team to Ireland this summer.
