Diocesan Bible Symposium

A Canadian visit to our sister parish of Tyendinaga

A Canadian visit to our sister parish of Tyendinaga will take place October 24 – 26.  We will depart Friday morning (time TBD) and return Sunday evening (time TBD).  We will carpool so we will need some volunteers to drive. You will be responsible for the booking and cost of your hotel room.  Blocks of rooms will be reserved and more info will be coming.  You will need a passport or enhanced driver’s license to cross the border.  Please sign up on the gold sheet in the parish hall by September 14.

Evening Bible Study

Evening Bible Study will meet on Thursdays (except 4th Thursday) at 6 pm beginning 9/4.  We will be doing an 8 week study (ending Nov. 6) on Following Jesus.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

Will meet the first Saturday of the month at 9 am, September 6. The morning will include bible study, food, fellowship, and prayer. Please sign up on the blue sheet in the parish hall.

Children's Chapel

Children’s Chapel for children grade 5 and under will meet every Sunday at 9:30 am in the Chapel beginning Sunday 9/7.  The children will begin in the chapel and return to the church or nursery at the sign of peace. 

Discipleship Sunday

Discipleship Sunday will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 11 am beginning Sunday 9/7.  The adults and youth (6th grade and up) will be using SHAPED to Make a Difference.  In this message series, Pastor Rick Warren uses the acrostic SHAPE — your Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences — to talk about the way God wired you and why you need to not just know your SHAPE but use it to do the things God made you to do.   The children (5th grade and under) will meet upstairs in the nursery.

Youth Bible Study

Youth Bible Study for youth in 6th grade and up will meet with the diocesan youth ministry team on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 6 pm..  The next meeting is Monday, September 8.  They will begin with a meal, have a time of fellowship, prayer, worship and bible study. 

Daytime Bible Study

Bible Study will be held Wednesdays at 10 am. The first meeting is Wed, 9/10. We will be doing a 9 week study (ending 11/5) on the Fruit of the Spirit.
